Jordan E. Dollar

Jordan E. Dollar is President of The Dollar Law Firm with offices in Miami, FL and Detroit, MI.  Jordan works as a supervising attorney at the FIU Law Practice at the College of Law. He was previously “of counsel” to the largest minority owned law firm in the country and worked as the Director of Detention Programs at Catholic Legal Services.  He is currently President of the Board of Directors for Catholic Legal Services, the largest non-profit, immigration service provider in south Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Florida (2004) and the FIU College of Law (2007).

Jordan has experience in civil litigation, family law, and immigration law. Jordan’s immigration practice consists of representation of individuals through all aspects of the immigration process, including removal proceedings and appeals. His clients include high net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and creatives seeking business visas along with individuals seeking family-based petitions. He previously served as legal counsel for an EB-5 Regional Center in Miami, FL.  The Michigan office represents medical providers in civil litigation disputes throughout southeast Michigan. He also represented individuals in all types of family law matters.

In 2019 & 2020, Jordan was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the field of immigration.  In 2013, he was named a Top 40 under 40 Outstanding Attorney for Miami-Dade County.  In February 2015, the FIU College of Law Alumni Association recognized Jordan for contributions to the community. In law school, he was a student-attorney in the Carlos A. Costa Immigration & Human Rights Clinic where he co-counseled on federal class action litigation. He served as a Florida Bar Fellow at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights in Washington, D.C. He is the author of law review articles and is a regular speaker on legal topics.
